20 artists, designers and photographers were invited to create a work, inspired by the harbour of Rotterdam.
Ships, passing by my atelier, at a distance of just 200 metres, bring that world to my doorstep. And yet I know nothing about those strange mega-structures, and of the people aboard them. Likewise, there is always a fender wich maintains a distance between ship and shore.
